I heart words.

I’ve been making words work for print, mobile, and web both as a freelancer and in-house copywriter for almost 15 years. During this time, I've worked with brands and businesses based in the UK, Europe, and Asia.

Over the years, I've written different types of copy:
Product copy. Tick*
Editorials and advertorials. Tick and tick.
Marketing copy, OOH ads, tv commercial scripts. Tick tick tick.

My natural writing style is informal and chatty - like I'm talking to a friend - but if you need me to be, I can be formal too. I have an adaptable approach, and my goal is to always create content that is accessible. I relish the challenge of embodying a brand’s voice and finding the right word(s) that authentically connect with their audience.

Using the skills I have acquired, I want to focus on UX writing and designing an experience with language. I am ready to learn (and unlearn) as I navigate the UX space.

So let’s fill empty states, craft calls-to-action, and make major microcopy together!

About me personally:

  • I’ve only ever lived on islands.

  • I like taking photos - mainly travel and street photography.

  • I watch more TV than is probably recommended.

  • I enjoy making stuff and trying out new arts and crafts.
